Alex brings over 30 years of experience in architecture and digital delivery, helping teams move from design through to construction with less friction and better outcomes.
As a BIM Lead, he works closely with project teams to improve coordination, documentation, and delivery workflows. His focus is straightforward: make systems easier to use, outputs more reliable, and projects less painful to deliver.
He remains hands on with the tools, working directly in Revit and Autodesk Forma to support project delivery and resolve issues as they arise.
He has led numerous transitions to Revit and Autodesk Forma, guiding teams through standards, training, and setup in a way that actually sticks. He mentors Autodesk product users, from day-to-day support through to helping BIM leads and managers lift capability across their teams.
Alex is also the founder of RevitWorks, where he creates Revit content and add ins that deal with the practical side of project delivery. The aim is simple: less rework, fewer errors, and more consistency across teams.
His project experience spans New Zealand, Australia, and Kuala Lumpur, including recent BIM coordination roles on Wellington Children’s Hospital and the 7WQ upgrade.
